Nirmala Sitharaman said that 6 new airports will be auctioned through Public Private Partnership (PPP). With this, some necessary steps will be taken to make air travel easier. This decision of the government will also save fuel over time.

Finance Minister said that the use of Indian airspace will be made easier for efficient airspace management. This will bring many relief in air travel. For example, time and fuel will be saved. The important thing is that this work will be done within just two months. This will benefit about 1,000 crores.

 The Finance Minister said that 6 more airports will be auctioned through Public Private Partnership (PPP). This work will be done by the Airport Authority of India. In this way, the auction of 12 airports will be completed. In total 12 airports will invest 13 thousand crores. Please tell that the auction process of 6 airports is already going on. The Finance Minister said that with the new decision, the citizens of the country will be able to get the facilities of world class airport. Not only this, the preparation of 6 airport auctions for the third phase is going on.

According to the Finance Minister, India is on course to become a global center for MRO aircraft maintenance, repairs etc. The MRO facility of the aircraft will be developed in the country itself. This will cause a big drop in the maintenance cost of the airline. He said that the aviation component repair and airframe maintenance sector is expected to increase from Rs 800 crore to Rs 2,000 crore in three years.
