Now Uber starts auto rental service, will have to pay 169 rupees for one hour or 10 km

The company said that this service is currently available in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune.

Uber on Wednesday launched auto fare service in India, which will be available seven days and 24 hours depending on demand. The company said in a statement that through this service, passengers can book the auto and its driver for several hours and they will be allowed to stay at many places during the journey.

The company said that this service is currently available in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune. The statement said that prices for one-hour or ten-kilometer packages start from Rs 169, and can be booked for a maximum of eight hours.

Nitish Bhushan, head of market place and categories of Uber India and South Asia, said that this is the first innovative endeavor in India and a better example of how technology can be better used for both drivers and passengers.
