CBSE Board Exams 2021: 12th board examinations postponed, 10th board examinations cancelled

The result of class X will be made by the objective criteria i.e., Objective Criteria prepared by the Board. And if a student is not satisfied with his marks, he will be allowed to sit in the examination whenever the situation is better.

Prime Minister Modi today held a high level meeting with Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank regarding the status of board examinations. In this meeting, it has been decided that the 10th and 12th board examinations going on from next month will not be conducted at present. The 12th board exams were scheduled to begin on May 4, 2021, but have been postponed for the time being. The situation will be understood and reviewed by the board on June 1, after which new dates of the board examination will be announced.

However, the new dates of the examination will be announced at least 15 days before the examination, so that students can get sufficient time to prepare. This also means that the 12th board examinations will not be conducted till June 15.

The board exams of class 10th were also going to start from May 4, but these have been cancelled. Prime Minister Narendra Modi made it clear that health and health of all students is the biggest priority for the government. In today’s meeting, along with the Education Minister, Cabinet Secretary, School and Higher Education Secretary were involved. Keeping in mind the fast growing positive coronavirus case in the country, everyone accepted this decision by one vote.
