CBSE partnered with Facebook for course on digital security

According to CBSE officials, the objective of the course is to prepare students for the future while taking care of their health while online.

Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced on Sunday that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Facebook will jointly start courses on ‘digital safety and online health’ and ‘augmented reality’ for students and teachers.

Nishank tweeted, ‘I congratulate CBSE and Facebook for starting the program on Augmented Reality for Teachers and Digital Safety and Online Health for Students. I encourage teachers and students to apply for the programs starting July 6. According to CBSE officials, the objective of the course is to prepare students for the future while taking care of their health while online. A senior board official said, “These formats are for the students of secondary schools. The syllabus is on the CBSE website. This partnership is being led by ‘Facebook for Education’, a global initiative of Facebook.
