CHENNAI: Survey Sparo has announced a new initiative to recruit women. Anubhav Solutions service provider company has said that it will give a ‘Joining Bonus’ of Rs 50,000 to the women candidates joining it. The company said that under this initiative, women who applied for the post of Product Developer, Quality Analyst and Technical Writer by March 15 would be given this bonus. These women will have to join the company by April 15.
Citing a study by the Center for Science and Environment, the company has said that only 16 percent of women have been able to resume jobs after the relaxation of the lockdown. The company’s founder Shihab Mohamed said the report claimed that women’s participation in the labour force has come down to its lowest level. He said that we all have to do something to overcome this situation. Mohamed said that after the ‘Joining Bonus’, we will start the first virtual hackathon ‘Hacker Flow’. Under this, developers, students and those interested in coding will be brought under one platform.
