US Embassy will help 90 women entrepreneurs from Bihar-Jharkhand, apply here

An application is being announced in the context of ‘Women Entrepreneurs in Bihar and Jharkhand (AWE)’ under the Women’s Global Development Prosperity (W-GDP) initiative.

Patna: The US Consulate General has come forward for women entrepreneurs of Bihar and Jharkhand. References to Women Entrepreneurs in Bihar and Jharkhand (AWE) under the Women’s Global Development Prosperity (W-GDP) initiative in collaboration with US Consulate General Kolkata, Startup India, Aaroh Foundation and Nexus Start-up Hub at American Center New Delhi Announcing the application.

Aimed to be endorsed by AWE, a selected group of 90 potential women entrepreneurs and early stage business women from Bihar and Jharkhand are presented in an American style by US State Department alumni, local women businessmen and other partners. Online education will be provided with guided facilities. Selected participants will join an AWE network that will provide them with affiliate membership, business partnerships, and additional opportunities to conduct various businesses in their region and in the United States.

 to win AWS credit of $1000. Under Phase II, women entrepreneurs will have to follow an online DreamBuilder program run by the University of Arizona.

$5,000 will be credited

Under the third phase, high potential women entrepreneurs will have to come to Kolkata to participate in bootcamp and pitching sessions. At least 6 Women Entrepreneurs (A-W-S) credits worth $5,000 will be provided in support by one of the state’s incubators.

For other updates apply on this link In the first week of August, roadshows were conducted in Patna, Begusarai and Nalanda of Bihar and Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Dhanbad in Jharkhand by the managers who organized this program. State level organizations like Start Up Bihar and Start Up Jharkhand are also supporting AWE’s initiative for women entrepreneurs and to help them set up new ventures in the respective states.
