South Korean developer Krafton has announced via a press release that the Battlegrounds Mobile India game has received over 20 million pre-registrations in India. The game was announced in the first week of May and the pre-registration process was started from May 18. However, this process was only available to Android users through the Google Play Store. On the first day, the developer informed that the game has received 7.6 million registrations. At the same time, now two weeks later, Battleground Mobile India has received more than 12.4 million registrations.
