Delhi: No Token-No Cash Transaction, Metro service can start in September

DMRC has the responsibility of 385 stations

After the new guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the parking facility available at the metro station will remain closed for the time being. Apart from this, the feeder bus service connecting the station and bringing people from nearby areas to the station will also be closed for the time being. According to the new SOP prepared by DMRC, ‘there will be no system to recharge the card. Smart card / QR code will be allowed to travel in the metro. Even ticket vending machines will not accept cash.

According to the Indian Express, the temperature inside the metro coach will also be taken care of. In view of the corona epidemic, the temperature will be kept between 24-28 degrees. Fresh air will be communicated at the terminal station by keeping the doors open for a specified period. There are currently 285 stations under DMRC, which have access to 389 km of Delhi and NCR.
