The governments of West Bengal and Odisha have said that Flipkart may be associated with Hipbar, a mobile home delivery mobile application, as a technology service provider.

According to the letter with the agency, Flipkart’s customers will be allowed to access Hipber’s application on its platform.

According to this new arrangement, Flipkart customers will be able to order for the tipple of their choice and Hipbar will select these products from retail shops and reach the customer. Diageo India has a 26% stake in Hipbar. However, Flipkart has not commented on this matter at the moment.

According to Reuters, Amazon obtained permission for home delivery of liquor in West Bengal in June. After this, Flipkart also joined this race. West Bengal is the fourth most populous state in India. More than 90 million people live here while the population of Odisha is more than 41 million.
