India and Maldives to start air flight, agreement on ‘air travel bubble’

With the introduction of ‘Air Travel Bubble’ in both countries, Maldives with this facility will become the first country in the neighborhood.

Air corridor between India and Maldiv will start soon. During the video conference on Thursday, the foreign ministers of the two countries agreed to create an ‘air travel bubble’. With this Maldives will become the first such neighboring country. With which India is going to start this facility.

According to the information, talks were held between India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and Maldives Foreign Minister Abdullah Shahid on Thursday through video conferencing. Both sides agreed that it is necessary to start air connectivity again to boost people’s movement and economy. This will increase tourism, employment and business opportunities in both countries. Also, it will be easy to get into medical emergency and other emergencies. In this conversation, both countries also agreed to create air travel bubble.

Explain that the construction of an air bridge or air corridor between two countries is called an air travel bubble. This bubble is established in the two countries in view of their dependence on each other, trade and culturally connected. In this air travel bubble, people from both countries can travel to each other via airplanes. But they are not allowed to travel in other countries.

Since the corona epidemic is widespread in the world. Therefore, India has stopped its international flights with most countries. However, after talks, India has already established an ‘air travel bubble’ with America, France, Britain and Germany. Now Maldives will become the fifth and the first country in the neighborhood in this episode. With which India is going to start this facility.
