Infosys to acquire American company Blue Acorn, will spend Rs 900 crore

Infosys may complete the acquisition in the first quarter of the current financial year. Infosysus had previously acquired Wongdoody.

Infosys has said that it is going to buy the American company Blue Acorn iCi. Infosys will spend 850 to 900 crores for this. Blue Acorn iCi is Adobe’s Platinum Partner in the US and provides digital customer experience, commerce and analytics services. Infosys has said that with this acquisition it will be able to provide better service to its customers.

Investment bank CG Petsky Prunier is the transaction advisor for Blue Acorn iCi in this deal. Infosys may complete the acquisition in the first quarter of the current financial year. Infosysus previously acquired Wongdoody, which provides creative and marketing services. The new acquisition will further strengthen this service area. This will further strengthen Infosys in Adobe, Magento, Salesforce Commerce and Shopify.

Series of acquisitions continue

Earlier Infosys announced the acquisition of GuideVision, one of Europe’s top consultancy companies. He said that an agreement has been signed for this. GuideVision is a Czech Republic company. Infosys had said that it would acquire the company for about Rs 260.4 crore. Infosys had told the stock market that the acquisition would be done by its subsidiary company Infy Consulting Company Ltd. GuideVision provides services such as strategic advice, consulting, implementation, training and support on the Service Now platform. According to Infosys, GuideVision also provides SnowMirror service
