Maruti Suzuki will recall 1.35 lakh Wagon R and Baleno vehicles, fearing fuel pump failure

The company has said that 56,663 units of Wagon R and 78,222 units of Baleno will be withdrawn. There may be some problems in their fuel pump.

Maruti Suzuki will recall about 1.35 lakh petrol vehicles of Wagon R, Baleno model. Maruti Suzuki said on Wednesday that it will withdraw Wagon R (one liter) petrol vehicles from 15 November 2018 to 15 October 2019. Along with this, Baleno (Petrol) trains made between 8 January 2019 to 4 January 2019 will also be withdrawn. A total of 1,34,885 vehicles of both models will be recalled. The company has said that 56,663 units of Wagon R and 78,222 units of Baleno will be withdrawn.

There may be some problems in their fuel pump. Any such defect will be fixed free of cost and the vehicle will be given to the customers.

Authorized dealers of Maruti Suzuki will contact the customer and inform about the decision of the company recall. Customers of Wagon R can go to the ‘Imp Customer Info’ section of the company’s website www.marutisuzuki.com and take their chassis number and check whether their vehicle has a defect. For this, you have to fill the 14-digit alpha-numeric number by writing MA3 or MBH there. It will be known from this that there is no need to repair their car. For Baleno one has to log in at www.nexaexperience.com. The chassis number is written on the vehicle ID plate. It is also written on the invoice and registration document of the vehicles. Maruti will soon launch a petrol engineed Maruti S-Cross. The company will bring it in three variants, which include Delta, Zita and Alpha. The entry-level variant Sigma found in the BS-4 model (diesel engine model) of the S-Cross has been discontinued. The S-Cross diesel was priced between Rs 8.81 lakh and Rs 11.44 lakh. It is being estimated that the price of petrol model can be around 9 lakh rupees. The updated S-Cross market is being compared to SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Celtos, Renault Duster and Nissan Kicks.
