Saudi Arabia’s state-run oil company Aramco has discovered two new oil and gas fields in the country’s northern region. Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Salman gave this information to the official Saudi news agency SPA.

The SPA has been quoted by the Saudi minister as saying that a natural gas field has been found in the Al-Jawf area, named Hadabat al-Hazra. At the same time, an oil and gas field has been found in the border area of the north, which has been named as Abraq al-Tulul.

Hadabat al-Hazra can produce 16 million cubic feet of natural gas and 1,944 barrels of condensate every day.

At the same time, about 3,189 barrels of super light crude can be released every day from Abraq al-Tulul. Also, 1.1 million cubic feet of gas can be released.

According to the SPA, the minister said that apart from this, another mill field can produce 2.4 million cubic feet of natural gas and 49 barrels of condensate daily.

The Prince thanked God for giving the country prosperity and said that Saudi Aramco would continue to assess both fields and dig wells to determine the amount of gas and oil emanating from them.

Due to the Corona epidemic, worldwide demand for oil was reduced, due to which this oil company suffered economic losses.
