The Bombay High Court granted bail to a man, saying that “the lockdown imposed for the prevention of corona virus epidemic has created an atmosphere of lethargy and annoyance”.

The man was arrested by curfew during the curfew (night of 8 May) by the Mumbai Police while strolling in the Marine Drive area of ​​South Mumbai.

According to the police department, this man named Karan Nair attacked the policeman when the man in uniform asked ‘Why are they wandering at night?’

But Karan’s lawyer Niranjan argued in the court that Karan is an architect by profession, he was frustrated for personal reasons, his mental condition is also not well at present and what he had in his hand is a tool that architects can use.

The Bombay High Court, while giving bail to this person, in its order, admitted that the police were working under great stress and they were under great pressure to maintain law and order.
