It is reported that before taking the primary membership of Congress at 3 pm on Tuesday, he will go to Bhagat Singh Park in ITO, Delhi and garland the statue of the great freedom fighter. However, independent Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani will also join the Congress with him.

In the presence of 110 party members, except three, all the other members supported the censure motion against Kanhaiya.
