Lockdown extended till June 10 with some relaxation in Jharkhand, know what will be open and where

Permission has been given to open all shops in 15 districts of Jharkhand. Shops in all the districts of the state will remain open till 2 pm, but malls and multi-brand shops will remain closed.

Amidst the rapidly decreasing cases of covid in Jharkhand, the state government has extended the lockdown implemented in the name of ‘Health Protection Week’ for a week as a precaution. It has been decided to keep the lockdown in force in the state till 6 am on June 10. During this, the requirement of e-pass within the district has been abolished for all. Along with this, jewelery, cloth and shoe shops have also been given permission to open in nine districts with less infection.

In order to break the chain of corona virus infection, the state government had started the Health Protection Week from April 22, which will continue till June 3. Presiding over the meeting of the Disaster Management Authority on Wednesday, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that although the cases of corona infection have come down in the state, the danger is not averted yet. So he decided to extend the Health Protection Week by one week.

E-pass necessary from one district to another

According to the new concessions given in the new lockdown, the requirement of e-pass has been abolished for movement within the district, e-pass will have to be taken for movement from one district to another. Under this, it was decided to divide the districts of Jharkhand into classes based on the severity of the infection and give some concessions in the districts with less infection. In this, except the shops of cloth, jewelry and slippers in Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Deoghar, Hazaribagh, Garhwa, Gumla and Ramgarh districts of the state with more corona infection, all other shops will open from 6 am to 2 pm. .

Apart from this, permission has been given to open all shops in other 15 districts. Shops in all the districts of the state will remain open till 2 pm, but malls and multi-brand shops will remain closed. Also, the marriage ceremony will remain the same as before and only 11 people will be able to attend the wedding.

The number of people who died and got infected due to Kovid infection in the state is decreasing rapidly. In the last 24 hours, a total of 14 people died due to Kovid in the state and only 831 people were infected with covid. The total number of dead from Kovid in the state has gone up to 4991.
