PM Modi calls oxygen leak in Nashik hospital heart-wrenching, 22 patients died

There was a huge panic in a hospital in Nashik, Maharashtra on Wednesday when the news of leaking of Oxygen came to light. In this accident, 22 patients admitted to the hospital died. This incident has taken place in Zakir Hussain Hospital. Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Office has announced a grant of Rs 5-5 lakh to the next of kin of the victims. In addition, a high-level inquiry has been ordered regarding the Nashik incident.
Expressing sorrow over the shocking incident, the politicians of the country have expressed condolences to the families of the victims. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his sorrow over this incident and termed it heartbreaking. Home Minister expressed condolences on Nashik accident

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi termed the incident of oxygen leaks in Nashik as extremely tragic. He said about this incident by tweeting- The incident of death of patients at Zakir Hussain Hospital in Nashik is very sad. My consolation is to the afflicted family. I appeal to the state governments and party workers to extend all possible help.
Awaiting detailed report of the accident
Maharashtra’s FDA Minister Rajendra Shingne said that we are waiting for the detailed report. We have ordered an inquiry. Those who are guilty will not be left out. The fire brigade team reached the spot and closed the oxygen valve. Serious patients have been shifted to another hospital due to pipeline leakage. Nashik guarding minister Chhagan Bhujbal has already visited there.
Regarding oxygen leakage, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that due to leakage of tanker valve in Nashik, there has been a massive leakage of oxygen. This was definitely going to affect the hospital.
