How to activate eSIM (How to activate e-SIM)

Activate Jio eSIM

For Apple iPhone models:

1. First of all make sure that your iOS version should be 12.1 or more.

2. Now go to phone settings and click on About phone for EID and IMEI.

3. Next write GETESIM <32 Digit EID> send <15 Digit IMEI> to 199 from your iPhone model.

4. Now you will receive a 19 digit eSIM number and eSIM profile configuration details.

5. Now SMS SIMCHG <19 digits eSIM number> to 199.

6. After two hours you will get the update of eSIM processing.

7. After receiving the message, confirm it by sending ‘1’ to 183.

8. Now you will get an automated call on your Jio number, in which you will be asked for a 19 digit ISIM number.

9. New e-SIM activation will be confirmed to you via SMS.

10. Now you have to configure the eSim profile in iPhone, for which go to Settings and click Mobile Data.

11. Then tap on Add Data plan and enter the activation code in the ISIM profile configuration details here.

12. After entering the activation code, click on Next on the top right.

13. Now tap on Add Data plan again.

14. After this, according to your choice select the Data Plan labels and select your country.

15. Now your e-SIM has been activated successfully.

2. Now tap on SIM card manager.

3. Now tap on Add mobile plan.

4. Select Scan Carrier QR code.

5. Then tap on Enter code.

6. Enter the Activation code in LPA: 1 $ smdprd.jio.com $ format, after which you will get 32 ​​digit activation code via SMS. Now you have to tap on Connect.

7. Jio eSIM is now activated, which you will see in the SIM card manager.

For Motorola phones:

First of all follow the same procedure from Steps 1 to Step 9 mentioned above. After that

1. Go to Settings for Motorola Razr 5G and select Network & Internet.

2. Now select Mobile network and click Next (Tap on Mobile network for Motorola Razr, click on Select Advanced and then tap on Carrier. After that click on Add Carrier and then select Next.)

How to activate Vi eSIM

For iPhone models:

1. Make sure your Wi-Fi or mobile data is connected to the device.

1. Go to Settings and select Network & Internet.
