Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, ’23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will organize research and development fair in November this year. Through this, an environment can be created for cutting-edge research according to the new National Education Policy.

New Delhi: 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) across the country will organize Research and Development (R&D) fairs in November this year with an aim to provide a platform for greater partnership between industries and academia. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said this in a meeting with the directors of all Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) in the country on Friday. He said that the research and development fair organized by IIT is an important event for the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, ’23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will organize research and development fair in November this year. Through this, an environment can be created for cutting-edge research according to the new National Education Policy. He said that all the 23 IITs will come together and focus on developing innovation for the Indian and global market with an aim to improve the quality of life.

Pradhan said that this R&D fair is starting from IITs and later centrally funded institutes of technology and state institutes of excellence will be linked to create a new environment for technology development and innovation. He said that IIT is a global brand and a role model for many institutions. This fair will provide a platform for greater partnership between industries and academia.

Let us inform that, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan held a meeting with Vice Chancellors of 45 Central Universities on Friday. In this, implementation of National Education Policy 2020, academic bank of credit, open and online education, start of academic session 2021-22, filling of outstanding vacancies of teachers of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections and There will be a discussion about the nectar festival of freedom.
