There is now news of relief for those travelers going to Britain, who had got the vaccine of Covaccine. The UK government has decided to include India’s vaccine in its approval list for the Covid vaccine. The biggest beneficiary of this decision will be those who have had the vaccine and now want to travel to the UK. The UK government is going to add the vaccine on 22 November to the list of approved Kovid-19 vaccines for international travelers. The UK had not previously approved the vaccine. After the approval of the World Health Organization, the covaccine made in India has also been approved by the UK for its use.

Let us tell you that this step of the UK government follows the list of emergency use of the World Health Organization. Covaccine is the second largest vaccine used in India. Earlier, international travelers who had been vaccinated had to stay in quarantine after going to the UK, but from 22 November this will no longer happen.

In addition, Covishield, the India-made Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, was added to the UK’s approved list only last month. International travel has increased due to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) emergency use approval (EUA) for the vaccine.

It is worth noting that earlier the UK had not recognized the vaccine. The WHO recently approved the Covaccine. The UK government has taken this decision only after approval from the WHO. Britain’s High Commissioner to India, Alex Ellis, tweeted on Monday, saying, “Good news for Indians traveling to the UK. With the approval from the World Health Organization, now Indians who have taken both doses of Covaccine from 22 November will not have to self-isolate during their visit to the UK.
