After Trains, DMRC Gives Signs to Start Delhi Metro

In a tweet, Delhi Metro has said that specially trained housekeeping staff have been placed in the metro stations which will clean the passenger movement area. According to DMRC, special staff have also been appointed to clean the machines such as AFC gate, elevators, escalators, etc. in the metro premises for safe movement when Metro services start.

After the introduction of 15 pairs of special trains from Delhi, now services of Delhi Metro can also start soon. Delhi Metro has given such signs.

Delhi Metro is closed from 22 March

Metro services in Delhi have been closed since 22 March. On 22 March, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the Janata curfew. With this, the operation of metro services was stopped. After this, on 25 March, PM Modi announced the lockdown for 3 weeks. Since then, the Delhi Metro has come to a complete standstill. Delhi Metro’s traffic system is considered a lifeline for the capital.

Now that the lockdown is gradually being relaxed, the services of the metro are also being considered. Explain that the lockdown is in force till May 17 to prevent infection of the corona virus in the country. Now Delhi Metro is making its preparations for 18 May based on the current assessment. So that if the order is received from the government, then the Metro service should be started. Therefore, the Delhi Metro has started the work of cleaning the stations. From Monday, booking has started for 15 pairs of special trains from Delhi. These trains will leave for 15 cities of the country from today.
