“Fundamental rights of Aryan Khan should be protected, NCB is violating”, Shiv Sena leader demands probe from Supreme Court

A senior Shiv Sena leader has urged the Supreme Court to conduct an inquiry into the Narcotics Control Board (NCB) cases and the violation of fundamental rights of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. Kishore Tiwari, who has the status of Minister of State, has demanded the intervention of the Chief Justice in the matter.

He said that since last almost two years NCB has been harassing film personalities, models and other celebs in a malicious and partisan manner. Regarding deferment of the decision on bail plea of Aryan Khan and other accused till October 20 citing public holiday, the petition said that it has made the accused a victim of great humiliation and at the same time, undemocratic and illegally imprisoned 17 kept for the night.
He has said that this is a complete violation of the fundamental right to life and liberty of the Constitution. Shiv Sena leader Kishor Tiwari demanded a probe into the role of NCB and Mumbai regional director Sameer Wankhede.
Pointing to suspicion on NCB officer Sameer Wankhede, the petition said that the officer’s wife is trying to make a big name in Bollywood. This is the reason why NCB is bringing only prominent names in the film industry, their families, models, producer-directors under the scanner.
