Ayodhya to get 500 crore projects on August 5

On this occasion, the foundation stone of new projects worth Rs 326 crore will be laid, while other works worth Rs 161 crore will be dedicated to the people. Among the projects to be laid, the project is estimated to cost more than Rs 252 crore, which includes the extension of the four-lane 36.7 km National Highway 30 between Azamgarh and Bahraich via Ayodhya.

On this occasion, the government will also flag off the third phase of the water supply project in Ayodhya. It costs more than Rs 54 crore and will be implemented by the Urban Development Department. Apart from this, the foundation stone for the modernization work of Tulsi memorial building will also be done under the Ayodhya Research Institute for Rs 16.8 crore. The project is proposed to be run by the Department of Culture.

The tourism department will undertake the expansion work of Ram Katha Park at a cost of Rs 2.7 crore. Located on the banks of the Saryu River near Naya Ghat, Ram Katha Park is the place where the Ramayana Fair and other cultural events are held. The projects to be dedicated to the people include a lecture hall, an administrative building, a library, an educational block and a boys / girls hostel at Rajshri Dasharatha State Medical Degree College at a cost of Rs 134 crore.

Apart from this, plastic surgery and burn unit will also be constructed at a cost of Rs 2.3 crore in the divisional hospital at Darshan Nagar. With this Ayodhya will also get a new bus station. The project, constructed by the Transport Department at an estimated cost of over Rs 7 crore, will provide better facilities to the pilgrims. A police barrack with a capacity of 200 people will also be constructed at a cost of 7 crores.
