The fastest ‘subway train’ running at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour in China was inaugurated in the southern city of Guangzhou city. According to the official newspaper ‘Global Times’, the subway train will be put into service on metro lines number 18 and 22 in the Guangzhou Metro.

After being included in the service, it will take 25 minutes and 30 minutes respectively from this train from Nansha Free Trade Zone to South Guangzhou station and East Guangzhou station.

In future, both lines will be extended to Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Dongguan cities of Guangdong. The Guangzhou Railway Authority has ordered the construction of 22 trains from CRCC for operating on line number 18 and 22. It was said in the news that after the first train, more trains will come from October.
