Corona Virus: Russia Claims, We Made Vaccine
Russian President Vladimir Putin has claimed that his scientists have prepared a vaccine against the corona virus that is effective against the corona virus.
Giving the ministers of the government on Tuesday, he said, “This morning the first vaccine has been registered against the corona virus.”
Putin said that this vaccine was tested on humans for two months and it has met all the safety standards.
However, Western scientists are skeptical of Russia’s claim to have developed the vaccine at such a rapid pace.
Final stage trial also in China
China’s Sinovac Biotech Ltd. on Tuesday began the final phase of the human trial of the Covid-19 vaccine. The trial of this vaccine is being conducted on 1620 patients in Indonesia.
This vaccine is being made in collaboration with the Indonesian state-owned Bio Pharma.
Earlier on Monday, Synovac stated that the vaccine has been found safe in the second phase of the trial and that antibodies-based immune responses have been found in patients.
This vaccine, named Coronavac, is one of the few effective vaccines that has reached this stage of testing. After studying them, evidence is being collected about their effect.
