The Maharashtra government has instructed all officers to work under Break the Chain. According to the new instructions, apart from keeping the shop open from 7 am to 11 am, all other institutions will be closed.

There have been 62 thousand 97 new cases of corona virus infection in the state in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 519 people died. Given the current state of Corona, the state may announce a complete lockdown today. Amid reports of lockdown, long lines have been installed at ration shops in the state.

Yesterday 54,224 people were discharged after becoming infection free. After which the total number of cured people has increased to 32,13,464. The total number of under-treated patients in the state has risen to 6,83,856. After the arrival of 7,192 new cases of infection in Mumbai, the total number of infected people has increased to 5,94,059. Apart from this, after the death of 34 patients, the number of dead has reached 12,446.

Instructions to all officers to work under Break the Chain

The Maharashtra government has instructed all officers to work under Break the Chain. According to the new instructions, apart from keeping the shop open from 7 am to 11 am, all other institutions will be closed. Maharashtra government will clarify the situation regarding the lockdown by evening. Yesterday, in his address to the nation, PM Modi appealed to the states to keep the lockdown as the last option.

According to the information, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is not in favor of completely shutting down the transportation in the state. There will be no impact on the movement of the airport and long distance trains. However, the government can announce 10 to 15 percent attendance in the government office. Only people working in emergency services should use public transport. The government can also declare such strict rules.
