The trial report said that after applying the vaccine, it develops antibodies in the human body for 6-12 months. One thing that makes these facts more interesting is that the covicine is the first Covid-19 vaccine, which has been tested on children up to 12 years. This test was done in September. Bharat Biotech is examining the vaccine potential during Phase 3 study at 25 centers on about 26000 candidates.

How does it work?

Humoral immune responses are caused by antibodies, while cell-mediated responses are caused by T-cells, which are key components of the adaptive immune system whose function is to kill infected cells, activate other immune cells, produce cytokines, and immunity Regulating the reaction is involved. After antibodies, it is the second level immune system of the body, whose job is to connect with the immune system and protect it from infected cells.

What came out in the first two studies?

According to Bharat Biotech, the results of tests conducted on the candidates found that both humoral and cell-mediated responses were observed and there were no adverse effects. Apart from this, no serious or fatal danger was also seen.
