Hero, the largest bicycle company in the country, says that there has been a lot of increase in the demand for bicycles after the lockdown. Demand has increased by 50 percent in the premium category, while the electric category has recorded a growth of up to 100 percent.
Talking to a private channel, Hero Cycle CMD Pankaj Munjal said that demand has increased in urban areas. He said that after the last several decades, there is a craze for this type of bicycle. Now production is being increased, because only 10 to 15 percent of the bicycle stock is left with the dealer.
