Demand raised on social media, why not Maithili language in the Arogya Setu App?

People of Mithila continue to protest on the ground for their right. But in the midst of the lockdown, Maithili speakers adopted the traditional method of online protest. Recently,  the Arogya Setu App called for the issue of Maithili language to be trended in Twitter.

For the all-round development of Mithila, there has been a continuous trend on Twitter on various issues from the youth for the last few days. Till now the campaign was called #Mithila Will Rise, #Mithila Calling and #Mithila #Darbhanga Airport.

Ashish Jha, associated with this campaign said that despite getting a place in Constitution, Maithili language is conspicuously missing in the Arogya Setu application. The fact of the matter is that Maithili language has always been neglected by the Government of the Day. He said that in the campaign #Darbhanga Airport, which was run on Twitter in the past, Maithils tweeted tautly. The result of this is that on Monday, the Union Minister has tweeted giving reference to #Darbhanga Airport. He said that with the commencement of flight service from Darbhanga Airport, more than seven crore Mithila dwellers will get the benefit. He said that this campaign will continue on Twitter.
