The construction work of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple has started. This information has been given by the official Twitter handle of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust.

It is reported that L&T Engineer, a construction company in collaboration with Roorkee’s Central Building Research Institute and IIT Madras, is engaged in soil testing of Janmabhoomi.

The construction of the temple is estimated to take about 36-40 months.

According to the temple trust, the Ram Janmabhoomi temple is being constructed with the ancient construction method of India so that it not only stands for hundreds of years, but also does not cause any damage to the temple in earthquake or any other type of disaster.

Information has been given that iron will not be used in the construction of the temple.

Copper leaves will be used to connect the stones used in temple construction.

10,000 leaves will be required for construction work 18 inches long, 3 millimeters deep and 30 millimeters wide.

Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has called upon the devotees to donate copper leaves.

According to the trust, on these copper leaves, donors can get their family, area or temples named. In this way, these copper leaves will not only become an unprecedented example of the unity of the country, but will also give evidence of the contribution of the entire nation in temple construction.
