Former England defender Norman Hunter died at the age of 76 due to Kovid-19. He was part of the World Cup winning team in 1966. According to a BBC report, Hunter was hospitalized on 10 April after being found positive from Coronavirus. Hunter played a key role in Leeds’ most successful era and won two league titles. The club said, “His legacy can never be forgotten and it is a difficult time for Norman’s family and friends. He played 726 matches for the club. Let us know that at the age of 14 Leeds joined as a defender. Hunter was a member of the 1966 World Cup winning team. Hunter left Bristol City and Barnsley after joining Leeds in 1976 and played for them.
