Political journey

Chetan Chauhan contested in Amroha in 1991 on a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket and was elected as an MP. After this, once again in 1996, the BJP fielded them for the electoral battle in this ground, but this time they lost. In 1998, Chetan Chauhan was again elected as an MP. At the same time, he also tried his luck in the 1999 and 2004 Lok Sabha elections, but faced defeat. Presently, he was the MLA of Naugawa Assembly in Amroha district.
