India Corona Cases Today: record 2 thousand infected deaths in one day, 2.95 lakh new cases in 24 hours
Coronavirus Cases Death in India: More than 2.5 lakh new corona cases have come in the country for the fourth consecutive day. So far, more than 27 crore corona sample tests have been done, out of which 16 lakh samples were tested yesterday. The daily positivity rate is more than 18 percent.
Despite the addition of 13 crore Corona vaccines across the country, the epidemic crisis is not taking its name. Every day Corona figures are setting new records. According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health, 295,041 new corona cases have come in the last 24 hours and 2023 infected people have lost their lives. However, 1,67,457 people have also recovered from Corona. Earlier on Saturday, 259,167 new cases came.

Total discharge – one crore 32 lakh 76 thousand 39
Total active cases – 21 lakh 57 thousand 538
Total Death – 1 lakh 82 thousand 553
Total vaccination – 13 crore 1 lakh 19 thousand 310 doses given
519 people died in Maharashtra yesterday
The total number of infected people increased to 39,60,359 after 62,097 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Maharashtra on Tuesday. Apart from this, the number of dead has reached 61,343 with the death of 519 more patients. Yesterday 54,224 people were discharged after becoming infection free. After which the total number of cured people has increased to 32,13,464. The total number of active cases in the state has been 6,83,856.
PM Modi appeals to state governments
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the message to the nation on Tuesday, appealed to the state governments to arouse the confidence of the workers. He said that the effort is also that economic activities and livelihoods should be least affected.
PM Modi said, “My request to the state administration is to keep the confidence of the workers, urge them to stay where they are. This trust given by the states will help them a lot in the city where they are next.” In a few days, the vaccine will also be put in place and their work will not be stopped. The effort of all of us is not only to save lives, but also to ensure that economic activities and livelihoods are least affected. “
More than 13 crore Corona vaccines given
The campaign to get Corona vaccine started in the country from 16 January. Till 20 April, 13 crore 1 lakh 19 thousand 310 corona doses have been given across the country. There were around 30 lakh vaccines last day. The campaign to give the second dose of vaccine started on 13 February. From April 1, all people above 45 years of age are being vaccinated. Now from May 1, people above 18 will also be vaccinated.
The death rate of corona in the country is 1.17 percent while the recovery rate is around 85 percent. Active cases increased to more than 13 percent. India is second in the world in Corona Active Case. India also ranks second in terms of total number of infected people. While India has the highest number of deaths in the world after USA, Brazil and Mexico.
