JIO will make cheap 4G and 5G phones with its brand with GOOGLE
Mukesh Ambani said that Google and Jio are willing to partner to develop 4G and 5G phones in India.
Reliance Industries can make cheap 4G or 5G phones of entry level with Google. Under this, Google can provide optimizations to the Android operating system of phones launched by Jio. Google, along with Jio, can distribute cheap phones in the global market. Analysts believe that with Jio 5G technology, phones developed with Google can offer customers cheaply. After an investment of Rs 33,737 crore in the Jio platform from Google, the two have expressed their intention to develop the phone together. Google has bought 7.73 percent stake in Jio platforms.
Mukesh Ambani said, India will free 2G
Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani said at the group’s AGM that he had faith in his group. He can design entry-level 4G or 5G phones. That too at a very low cost. Mukesh Ambani said that the group also needs a value engineered operating system. Such operating systems must be developed from the ground up. He said that Google and Jio are ready to partner to develop 4G and 5G phones in India. Both are fully ready to develop a smartphone operating system.
Mukesh Ambani said, we want 35 crore people who use 2G phones in the country to use cheap 4G and 5G smartphones as soon as possible. We want to make India 2G free. On Wednesday, at Reliance’s AGM, he had said that Reliance has now become a debt-free company in the true sense. This target was achieved before the deadline of March 2021. The company’s strong balance sheet will help growth plans for Jio, Retail and Otusi.
