Google launched this facility in the month of November last year in nine cities of the country including New Delhi. Which is now being rolled out globally. Under this facility, any Google map user can follow any user under the app. Through which he can get his recommendations, advice and updates. This will be highlighted under the Updates tab in the Google Maps app.

Google Maps will also provide users with new theme filters on the profile on the app. This means that the app will give subjects to its users and give people the most space to share.

With this, Google is also preparing a new setting. Through which Google Map users can manage their Google Map profile. As always, everyone will be given the option of showing or not showing their reviews, photos and posts on their public profile.

To allow a user to follow you on Google Map, you have to go to your profile and enable it. Even if people are following you on Google Map, you can still choose to keep your profile banned.
