The Government of Pakistan has described the first vaccine of Corona prepared in its country as ‘Inquilab’ with the help of China. This vaccine named PakVac was launched on Tuesday.

Describing it as an important day, Pakistan’s Union Minister Asad Umar said that this vaccine of Pakistan is no less than a revolution.

He also thanked Pakistan’s health teams as well as China’s allies, who helped in arranging the production of the vaccine.

However, he also said that the first choice of people coming to Pakistan to get vaccinated right now is the vaccine sinoform made in China, not the vaccine made in the West.

Asad Umar said, “When people go to our vaccination centers and they are told that it is the AstraZeneca vaccine, they ask for sinoform, and when they are told that it is not there, they go back “

He said that ‘we got the survey done in which the names of all the vaccines were there, but the first choice of the people in the whole of Pakistan was cyanopharm’.

Minister Omar said, “But we also have to promote Pakvak because we have prepared it together. It is a revolution.”

According to a report in Pakistan’s newspaper Dawn, the Pakvac vaccine has been developed by China’s state-run pharmaceutical company Cansino and is being brought to Pakistan in a concentrated form, where it will be packaged at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in Islamabad.

According to the report, the Cansino vaccine was the first vaccine in China, which was clinically tested in Pakistan and it was given to 18,000 people.

Pakistan was not much affected by the effects of the first and second waves of the corona epidemic.

There the first wave of the epidemic came in the month of May-June last year, but within a few weeks its effect had started to subside.

The second wave of the epidemic came in mid-September last year and lasted till the end of February this year.

After a few months, the cases of infection in Pakistan started increasing again. There were 16,000 active cases in Pakistan in the first week of March, but in April their number increased more than eight times.

After the furore from the second wave of Corona in India, there was also concern in Pakistan. Being the month of Ramadan, the challenge was increased.

Every year in Pakistan, the number of worshipers in mosques increases manifold during the month of Ramadan.

Last year, Pakistan was the only country in the world to keep its mosques open during Ramadan after people refused to pray at home during the pandemic.

Similar situation prevailed this year as well. The mosque and the Imam Bargah remained open during Ramadan. However, Imran Khan asked the officials to ensure that people follow social distancing and wear face masks during Namaz.

Then Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had warned that there is one doctor per 963 people in the country, in such a situation that if the corona virus spreads, then there could be a terrible disaster.

At the end of April, Imran Khan also said that he does not want to take any such step, which will have a bad effect on the workers and the working class. However, he also said that “if the situation becomes like in India” then the government will be forced to take strong steps.
