Many Bollywood stars have come forward to help the needy amid the lockdown. They are helping people in their own ways. Meanwhile actress Parineeti Chopra has decided to raise funds through a virtual coffee date. With the money coming through this virtual date, 4000 family members of 1,000 daily laborers will be fed.
Parineeti Chopra has come forward to help raise funds for the ration kit. Parineeti said, ‘During the lockdown implemented due to the Corono virus in our country, lakhs of daily wage laborers are not able to earn and they are facing lot of difficulties for two days’ bread. So Fankind, GiveIndia and I have come together to help such families.’
Through this campaign, to create a family of 4 people, ration kits will be collected with pulses, rice, flour, salt, spices, tea, sugar, oil etc. It will be distributed to families in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Bihar and Tamil Nadu.
Parineeti Chopra is raising donations through Fankind, the NGO of Anshula. Anshula is sister of Arjun Kapoor. The actress said, ‘No one should go to bed hungry, so let’s make a difference and take care of our fellow brothers and sisters in India. I have been uniquely prepared to complete this Fundamaiser. Take a cup of coffee! ‘
One just needs to log on to fankind.org/Parineeti and donate to be eligible for this virtual date which will aid GiveIndia to reach out to the ones who need our immediate help. The contest will be open for donation for a week, starting from 6th May.

Earlier, actor Arjun Kapoor also hosted his personal closet sale to feed the stray animals which are starving amid lockdown.
