The path to reach the Statue of Unity will now become easier. On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off 8 trains, which will directly connect various states of the country with Kevadia in Gujarat. During this, the Gujarat CM will also be present along with the Railway Minister.
It will now be easy to see the Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest statue located in Kevadia in Gujarat (Gujarat). On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) will flag off 8 express trains that will connect different states of the country with Kevadia.
There will be direct connection to these states
According to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), these trains will connect Kevadia to Varanasi, Dadar, Ahmedabad, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Rewa, Chennai and Pratapnagar. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Dabhoi-Chanchod gauge conversion, Chanchod-Kevadia gauge conversion, electrification of the newly constructed Pratapnagar-Kevadia section and inauguration of new buildings of Dabhoi, Chanchod and Kevadia stations during this ceremony to be held from Video Conferencing.
Gujarat CM will also be present with Railway Minister
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Railway Minister Piyush Goyal will also be present on this occasion. The PMO said in a statement that these railway stations have been equipped with local features and modern passenger amenities. Kevadia is the first station in the country to have a green building certificate.
Employment opportunities help development
The statement said that these projects will give impetus to the development work in the surrounding tribal areas. Connection to important religious and ancient shrines located on the banks of river Narmada will be promoted, domestic and international tourism will be promoted and it will prove to be important for the entire socio-economic development of the area. The PMO said that along with this it will also help in the development of new jobs and business opportunities.
