Britain: Prime Minister Boris Johnson signs historic Brexit agreement

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson signed the Brexit Trade Agreement with the European Union (EU) on Wednesday. Before that the Members of Parliament voted overwhelmingly in support of the proposal related to it. The motion was approved by 521 votes against 73.
Johnson said, “The treaty that I have just signed is not an end, but a new beginning, and I think it will start a great relationship between our friends and partners in Britain and the EU.”

Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson called for a parliament session on Wednesday after the Christmas holiday to seek parliamentary approval of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA), which was signed under separation from the European Union (EU), from the EU on January 1 next year The law coming into effect for future relations should overcome all obstacles with parliamentary approval.

After passage from both houses, the bill will be sent to the Queen of Britain, so that her approval can be obtained.
