In the Kashi Mathura dispute case, BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has also filed a petition in the Supreme Court.

In the Kashi Mathura dispute case, BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has also filed a petition in the Supreme Court. Swamy has filed a petition against the Religious Places Act 1991, which states that this law is a violation of fundamental rights.

Let us know that earlier the Peace Party of India had also filed an application in the Supreme Court against the petition of Hindu priests organization. In this petition, the Peace Party has also demanded to make itself a party. The Peace Party has urged the Supreme Court not to issue any notice on the original petition, as it would create fear in the Muslim community and it would harm the secular fabric of the country. Let us tell you that earlier in this case, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind had also filed an application in the Supreme Court.

Actually, the organization of Hindu priests has challenged the Places of Worship Act 1991 in the Supreme Court. It was said in this act that the religious place which belonged to the religious place on August 15, 1947, will belong to it forever. On this, the Peace Party has said in the petition that the petitioners are targeting such religious places which belong to the Muslims. In view of this, he has sought to make the court a party to the matter as he believes that the nature of Section 4 of the Places of Worship Act 1991 is secular.

The petition said that the Hindu priestly organization wants to drag the court into a case that is hundreds of years old and thus create tension on the basis of religious intolerance in the country. It has been said in the petition that if this writ petition is accepted then it will create an atmosphere that every religion will present its claims on the structure, which is like the other religion at this time.

The Peace Party told the court that it could include the applicant as a party and that the original petition should be rejected to uphold the country’s secularism and harmony among all communities. The Peace Party is the second applicant after Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind who wants to be a party in this matter. It is worth noting that in the Ayodhya verdict, the Supreme Court had confirmed the constitutionality of the Place of Worship Act and said that this law has been passed to maintain secularism.
