The 13th season of the Indian Premier League is being held in the UAE this year due to the corona virus. The BCCI has announced the schedule of IPL 13, which starts from 19 September.

The current winners Mumbai Indians have launched their theme campaign for the upcoming season of IPL on Saturday. The current winner is encouraging fans to join the celebrations by following the safety rules.

The franchise has released a video in which fans are seen celebrating in their homes and colonies following social distancing. The franchisee said in a statement that it tells the spirit of our family that does not shrink under any circumstances.

All IPL matches will be played in three cities of UAE

The IPL-2020 is being organized in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) this time due to Covid-19. All the matches of the IPL will be played in the UAE’s three cities – Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Dubai will host the maximum 24 matches in these three cities. At the same time, 20 matches will be played in Abu Dhabi. The least 12 matches will be played in Sharjah.

The first match in Abu Dhabi will be between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings on 19 September

Mumbai will face Chennai Sapoor Kings in the first match of the season. The franchise has tweeted on Saturday that Karen Pollard and Sherfane Rutherford have reached the UAE to join the team.
