Thailand Open 2021: PV Sindhu landed on badminton court after 10 months. But in the very first round, Sindhu suffered a loss and was eliminated from the Thailand Open.

Thailand Open 2021: India has suffered a big setback in Thailand Open. India’s number one badminton player PV Sindhu has been eliminated from the tournament only after the first round. Sindhu had a clash with Mian of Denmark in the first round. Mian defeated Sindhu 21-16, 24-26, 13-21.

Sindhu made a brilliant debut in the first round. Sindhu won the first game 21-16. The second game saw a close fight between Sindhu and Mian and Mian managed to win the second game 26-24. In the third game, Mian did not give Sindhu any chance to return. Mian won the third game 21-13.

Sindhu landed on the ground after 10 months

PV Sindhu could not take part in any international match for the last 10 months due to Corona virus. Sindhu returns to Badminton Court with Thailand Open. Sindhu was practicing in London for the last two months.

Saina Nehwal retreated

India has suffered a major setback at the Thailand Open earlier. Corona report of India’s number two badminton player Saina Nehwal came back positive. Saina withdrew from Thailand Open due to this. Saina Nehwal will have to remain quarantined for the next 10 days.

Let us know that Thailand Open has started from 12 January. This tournament will run till 17 January.
