The popular messaging app WhatsApp keeps adding new features to its platform. According to the news, WhatsApp is working on a new feature. After this feature, the messages sent by the users themselves will be deleted after some time. Facebook-owned messaging company WhatsApp is testing this new feature these days. According to a report by WABetaInfo, this new feature beta version of WhatsApp users has been spotted in V2.19.275 version.

In the latest version 2.20.197.4 users can enable Expiring messages in Settings. Through the feature, users will be able to use the auto-delete message feature in chat after seven days.

After the arrival of this feature, the WhatsApp messages will be deleted from the chat after the time set by the user. For this, the user who signs the message will mark the chat as Disappeared. Currently this feature has been spotted for group chat. For this, users have to go to the group info and turn on Disappeared and turn on the timer. After this, the message sent by the user in the group itself will be deleted after the scheduled time. Currently this feature is not available for the public beta version.

In the old beta version, it was revealed that WhatsApp’s expiring message feature will be available for individual chats as well as group chats. The purpose of this feature is slightly different from the self-destructing message on apps like Snapchat.

WhatsApp’s Disappearing Message feature is somewhat like delete for all feature. There is an option to delete user chat in delete for all feature. But this option is only for some time. But now the user can delete the forwarded message by putting a timer.
