Xiaomi may Launch a Foldable Phone Soon

New Delhi, Tech Desk: In the recent past, foldable devices have knocked in the Smartphone industry, which are also very much liked by users in terms of design and features. Foldable Smartphones with clamshell design are quite a hot topic for discussion along with foldable Smartphones. Recently, Motorola Razr and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip knocked the Indian market. Both of these are flip phones and can be folded and conveniently placed in the pocket. At the same time, there is a discussion that Xiaomi is also going to enter the clamshell foldable phone market soon and the company has started working on its foldable phone. So far a lot of leaks have also surfaced.

According to a report by ZDNet Korea, Xiaomi’s foldable is expected to hit the market by the end of this year. For this, the company has demanded a clamshell type flexible OLED display from Samsung Display Supply. This display has also been used in the recently launched Galaxy Z Flip. Apart from this, the company has also demanded LG for display. However, the company has not yet officially given any information regarding its foldable phone.

But till now, according to reports in front, Xiaomi is planning to start mass production of its clamshell foldable phone from the second half of this year. Recently the render of this smartphone was revealed. Accordingly, it can be provided with a pop-up selfie camera. Apart from this, Xiaomi has also received the approval of WIPO last week for the clamshell design foldable. In such a situation, it is expected that users will not have to wait much for the company’s foldable phone. As soon as it comes in the market, it can compete with Motorola Razr and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
