Coronavirus Cases In India: More than 26 crore sample tests for corona virus have been done in the country so far, out of which 14 lakh samples were tested yesterday. The positivity rate is more than 13 percent.
The graph of corona infects is increasing rapidly throughout the country. Now the number of new cases of infection has reached close to two lakhs every day. At the same time, for the first time this year, the death toll from the corona has crossed the thousand. According to the latest report of the Health Ministry, 184,372 new corona cases have come in the last 24 hours and 1027 people have lost their lives. However, 82,339 people have also recovered from Corona. Earlier on Monday, there were 161,736 new cases. On October 2 last year, 1069 infected people died.

15-day curfew across Maharashtra
On Tuesday, 60,212 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Maharashtra and 281 people died. At the same time, considering the situation, the state government has announced imposition of a state-wide curfew of 15 days from 8 pm on 14 April. With the arrival of new cases, the total number of people infected so far in the state has increased to 35,19,208, while a total of 58,526 people have died due to the epidemic so far.
The Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray-led Mahavikas Aghadi government on Tuesday announced imposition of a 15-day statewide curfew on Tuesday, in view of the increasing number of infections.
11 million vaccines given so far
The campaign to get Corona vaccine started in the country on 16 January. Till April 13, 11 crore 11 lakh 79 thousand 578 corona doses have been given across the country. There were 26 lakh 46 thousand 528 vaccines last day. The campaign to give the second dose of vaccine started on 13 February. From April 1, all people above 45 years of age are being vaccinated.
The death rate of corona in the country is 1.25 percent while the recovery rate is around 89 percent. Active cases increased to more than 9 percent. India ranks third in the world in Corona Active Case.
