The government has announced that vaccination of people in the age group of 50-59 will be started from April 21, amid increasing cases of infection. Till now only people aged above 60 years were being vaccinated.
At the same time, the pace of vaccination campaign started in Pakistan from February 2 is very slow. In the country with a population of 22 crore, only 13 lakh people have been vaccinated.
