Worship of Char Pahar (4 Times Puja) on Mahashivaratri has special significance and is also considered fruitful. 4 This worship of Pahar starts from Pradosh Kaal (Pradosh Kaal) at dusk till the Brahma Muhurta on the next morning. Since it is called Maha Shivaratri, there is a law of worshiping Shiva at different times on this day by awakening at night. This worship of Lord Shiva’s Char Pahar governs the four parts of life – Dharma, Kama, Artha and Moksha.

The time of worship of four o’clock on Mahashivratri

The time of worship of the first Prahar – starting from 06:27 in the evening on Thursday, March 11, to Pradosh kaal, till 09:28 in the night.

Timing of worship of the second hour – from 09:28 pm on Thursday, March 11 to midnight of March 12 at 12:30 pm

Timing of the third hour – 12:30 am to 03:32 am on the midnight of 12 March.

The time of worship of the fourth time – from 03:32 am to 06:34 am on March 12.

Nishita Kaal worship time – 12:06 pm to 12:54 pm on March 12. For a total of 48 minutes.
