Vikas Dubey: Story from arrest in Ujjain to death in Kanpur
Vikas Dubey, accused of killing eight policemen in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur, died on Friday morning. According to the Uttar Pradesh Police, a Special Task Force contingent was returning to Kanpur from Madhya Pradesh with Dubey when one of his vehicles overturned, after which Vikas Dubey tried to run away and the accused died in police action.
Just a day before this, Vikas Dubey was arrested from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh in a very dramatic manner. Seven days after the shooting in Kanpur, the police arrested Vikas Dubey.
According to the information received from official sources from Ujjain, Vikas Dubey had reached the Mahakaleshwar temple on Thursday morning and got a VIP slip of Rs 250.
Only Vikas Dubey was written in the slip. Vikas had a bag. He also went to a prasad shop in front of the temple. Vikas wanted to keep his bag somewhere. Vikas also asked a person to place a bag.
After that Vikas reached inside the temple to have darshan. During this time, the security guard had become suspicious and the police was also informed.
When Vikas Dubey came out, the police had arrived and he was taken into custody. Two of Vikas’s associates Bittu and Suresh have also been arrested, but not much has been told about them yet.
A police official claims that the reason for coming to Ujjain to visit the Mahakal temple was that Vikas wanted to avoid an encounter with the police. At the same time, it has also been learned that he roamed the temple complex for a long time in the morning.
When the police were arresting them, they were shouting, “I am Vikas Dubey, Kanpur Wala.”
Vikas Dubey was taken to the Mahakal police station after his arrest. During this time also Vikas tried to talk to the media. There, Vikas again shouted that he was ‘Vikas Dubey, Kanpur.’ Police silenced the development.

At the same time, the police kept taking Vikas to the police station and questioned for a long time. It is said that the police wanted to be completely convinced that the one who was caught is the development.
How can a person who has been arrested by the police of many states for the last one week give his arrest so easily, so he was strictly questioned.
After this, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra also gave a statement that Vikas Dubey has been arrested. However, he did not say in what circumstances the arrest took place and how the police got information.
Narottam Mishra said in Bhopal, “Now he is under police arrest. It is not right to say anything about how the arrest took place. He was crossing the limits of cruelty from the beginning. As far as intelligence is concerned, now It is not right to say anything. Since the incident, the state police was on full alert. “
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan also tweeted about the arrest of Vikas Dubey after that.
It has also been learned from police sources that the Ujjain police has taken Vikas Dubey to some unknown place. There is also talk of handing him over to the Uttar Pradesh Police.
It is alleged that Vikas Dubey attacked the police team who had been arrested in Bikeru village of Kanpur on 2 July. 8 policemen were killed in firing on the police team. After this, prize money was constantly being increased on development. The prize money had increased to five lakhs.

But with the arrest, politics also increased in Madhya Pradesh. While the state government is telling it its success, the Congress has surrounded the government and called it a failure.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said, “Those who feel that their sins will be washed away by going to the shelter of Mahakal, they do not know Mahakal. Our government is not going to spare any criminal.”
