Aadhaar can be updated at Common Service Centers, UIDAI gave information

New Delhi: Now you will be able to update Aadhaar through Common Service Centers (CSC). The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has allowed about 20,000 common service centers to update Aadhaar. Preparations are on to prepare the system of Aadhaar update at all these centers.

You will get the facility of demographic update

UIDAI informed on Monday that Aadhaar can now be updated through the Common Service Center. Only the facility of updating demographic data will be allowed here. That is, the center operator and Aadhaar users will be identified through fingerprints and the pupil of the eye here. CSC will update the children’s biometrics details and address changes will also be possible. UIDAI said the system is expected to be ready by the end of June for this.

Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad also gave information

Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Minister of State for IT Sanjay Dhotre informed about UIDAI’s approval of CSC through social media posts. Prasad said, ‘I am sure this facility will help a large number of rural citizens to get Aadhaar service close to their place of residence.’
