Naseeruddin Shah told that it will be interesting to see what the audience’s reaction will be if Salman Khan’s film is released on the OTT platform. The audience who clap their movies, play whistles, bounce coins on the screen and dance.
Theaters have been closed for the last several months due to the corona virus epidemic, due to which fans watching movies in Cinemahalls are disturbed, however due to this the importance of OTT platforms has increased considerably. In the last few weeks, films of many famous girthi stars like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt have been announced for release on the OTT platform and are becoming very popular among the concept fans.
Movies of Bollywood’s big stars are being released on OTT platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime to Disney Hotstar. Amidst all this, Naseeruddin Shah has given an interesting statement about Salman Khan’s films.
In an interview with Rajiv Masand, Naseeruddin Shah said that it will be interesting to see what the audience reaction will be if Salman Khan’s film is released on the OTT platform. The audience who clap their movies, play whistles, bounce coins on the screen and dance. What would be the reaction of such audiences if they get a chance to sit in Salman’s films at home, all alone, with their children? Will they behave in the same way at home? I do not think so at all.
Shah also said that this lockdown has inspired many young filmmakers, due to which they are working on many interesting projects. These filmmakers are not even caring about the producers who often choose the actors who have a high star value in the market, disrupting the creative process of the filmmakers. Nasiruddin said that I am optimistic about the future and I am hoping that we will work towards the betterment of good cinema by leaving behind 500 crore budget and profit.
